Textbook Tax Refund
In an effort to curb the cost of higher education for students, GSB has actively pursued the sales tax exemption of textbooks. The students will receive seven percent of their purchase in the form of a tax refund from the state of Iowa. Only textbook purchases at the University Book Store will be refunded under the tax code of the state of Iowa.
1. Buy Your Books
Buy your books at the University Book Store located in the Memorial Union. To be eligible for the tax break, your textbooks MUST be purchased at UBS. You will not receive a refund if your receipt is from another bookstore. You may send in up to three years of receipts.

2. Fill Out the Form

3. Mail it in
