Funded in part by the Government of the Student Body, the Iowa State Daily is the independent, non-profit, student-run, daily newspaper for the Iowa State community. It is owned and operated by students, faculty, staff, and alumni from the Iowa State community. It is the campus’ most comprehensive source of campus news and events.
GSB funds a part of the annual budget for the Iowa State Daily as delineated in the contract between the two entities, as well as subsidizing advertisements for student organizations interested in advertising through their campus newspaper.
