About Me

I am a 23 year old Political Science/Women’s Studies major originally from Salem, MO. I attended college at the University of Central Missouri for a year before taking some time off school. I started at ISU in the Fall 2008 semester and quickly became involved on campus.

I am currently a member of Delta Lambda Phi social fraternity, the LGBTQA Alliance, and active with several social issue campaigns. I am a political junkie and love to nerd out, but I also have a much lighter side. I enjoy hanging with friends, movies, tennis, floating, camping, road trips, and just being ridiculously spontaneous.

Goals for this Year

My number one goal as an Off Campus Senator and the Vice Speaker of the Senate is to make sure every student at ISU has a voice in the Senate. Every student and organization on campus deserves to be heard and taken seriously regardless of who they are or what they believe. I believe working to have a diverse student body is very important, but more so, I believe we need work on making ISU more inclusive. I also hope to work with the executive branch to make Iowa State a much more sustainable campus and to do everything possible to ease tuition burdens on students.
