GSB Wants to Help You Go Green
It seems like almost anywhere you walk on campus you can find something with the two words “Go Green” plastered on it. The efforts to go green on the ISU campus are great efforts led by excellent student leaders and dedicated staff members. But no matter how great the advertising for the “Go Green” Campaign is or how hard these leaders work, it will never have an impact on students unless students understand HOW they can go green. The Government of the Student Body is taking the initiative to inform students how they can make their daily routine green! This website has all the areas of your life mapped out and little things you can do to help reduce your carbon footprint. The majority of these tips came from the book GreenGreenerGreenest by Lori Bongiorno. There are plenty more great tips in her book for further readings! Some of these tips can save you money and help you lead a healthier life, as well as save the environment. Look around and see what you can do to make green your routine!
