Finance 101 Guide
This document is a complete students' guide to the finance process, with all of the information on who can receive funding, how to get funds, what funds can be used for, and more. This document was designed to be as easy to understand as possible for those unfamiliar with the finance process, or a useful reference guide for those who already are.

Finance Rules

Finance Priorities & Criteria
The Priorities & Criteria are approved by Senate each year, and specify which student organizations can be funded through GSB, as well as the order in which these clubs should be given priority for funding. The document also explains the details of what expenses clubs can and cannot spend money on.

A description of the bylaw passed by GSB Senate that student organizations are now required to follow.

Forms

End of Year Report Form
This form contains the year-end report for organizations to fill out in regards to the finance process. It must be filled out and sent to the Finance Director or droppoed off in the GSB office in order to receive funds next year.

Conference Evaluation Form
Form required for any organization that was granted conference funding from GSB. Must be completed and returned to the GSB Finance Director within two (2) weeks of returning from the conference funded. Future conference funding will be dependent on the completion of the form, and the information presented within the form. Please contact the Finance Director with any questions.

Line Item Transfer Form
If your organization will not be spending funds on a line in your budget, there is an option to transfer the funds to another line in the budget. Funds can only be transferred to and from lines that were given allocated funds.
