About Me
Iowa State has played a major role in my life. Not only do I love the Cyclones, but I appreciate all that Iowa State strives to do in order to make college life a positive experience for students. I am a senior double majoring in Speech Communication and Vocal Performance with a minor in Public Relations. Throughout my four years here, I have been involved in VEISHEA, choirs at ISU, the Residence Halls (I was a CA in Oak Elm hall for two years) and the Office of Admissions. I strongly encourage every student I meet to get involved and establish community with the people around them. Some of my favorite things to do are: play volleyball (I also coach a high school team in town), rollerblade, run, scrapbook and cook. My hope is to attend graduate school in Higher Education and Student Affairs and one day live in China and work with University students there. This is my first year serving GSB and I am excited for the year to come!
Goals for the Year
- Work to increase GSB visibility to students by adding a tab to Access Plus or Web CT
- Provide communication through Iowa State Daily, brochures, advertisements and other media outlets from GSB to the student body.
- Administer campus surveys to get a better understanding of what students need and want for their campus. Surveys will also help us understand student opinions on key issues such as financial literacy and student affairs.
- Continued support and progress with the ?Go Green? campaign and keeping Iowa State beautiful.
