About Me
My name is Denton Patrick and I am a sophomore studying Biology in Preparation for Human Medicine. I was raised in Guthrie Center, Iowa and will always consider it home. I am a highly involved member in Delta Tau Delta fraternity and have gained leadership experiences within the Greek Community, as well as on campus. At the end of my freshman year I was appointed as Director of New Student Outreach, making it my first involvement in Government of the Student Body.

Goals for the Year
- Have a strong informational presence at Destination Iowa State
- Explain the role of GSB and the services provided to new students
- Have an informational booth or lecture during Destination Iowa State and orientation
- Work with the Office of New Student programs utilizing prior contacts
- Make ?outreach? part of the job?be an impactful resource in new students experience and have a strong presence with new students
- Be present and active in both Freshman Council and Junior Greek Council
- Offer the Government of the Student Body views on issues addressed in these councils
- Reach the new students in the residence halls effectively
- Attend residence hall meetings early in the year
- Create a warm atmosphere for promotional events
- Speak in small groups in order to hear the voices of new students effectively
